Iris Partnering began when founder Christa Spear noticed something most small business owners already feel every day: they’re carrying too much of the business on their own.

 

After a career in sales management, operations, recruiting, customer service, and helping launch new businesses, Christa experienced a mass layoff during a time when remote roles were shrinking fast. Interviews made it clear that even with strong experience, flexibility wasn’t truly supported.

So she created her own path.

Christa began consulting independently and within 48 hours, she was fully booked. Founders were craving something they couldn’t get from traditional hiring: experienced support from someone who could integrate into their business like a W2 employee, without the overhead and with far more built-in support.

 

That idea became Iris Partnering.

 

Named after the iris flower, symbolizing faith, courage, hope, valor, and wisdom, the company was built to embody exactly what CEOs need in a partner: steadiness, clarity, and someone who helps move the business forward every single day.

 

What started with one consultant has grown into a national team of eight, supporting clients across industries with operations, project management, executive assistance, marketing support and more.
