As a Marketing Assistant Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in building visibility and traction for our clients by leading day-to-day marketing operations and supporting strategic initiatives. This 1099 opportunity offers flexibility, creative ownership, and the ability to make a measurable impact on growing businesses. You’ll report directly to the People and Operations Manager and work closely with consultants across the team.

How You’ll Add Value:

• Plan and schedule weekly social media content that aligns with each client’s brand, goals, and voice

• Write and edit engaging marketing copy across platforms: captions, blog posts, newsletters, and landing pages

• Create visually compelling graphics and reels using Canva (and occasionally stock tools or brand kits)

• Use tools like ChatGPT and Google Docs to draft and refine content ideas quickly and effectively

• Set up simple, functional landing pages (Wix or WordPress) and edit web content as needed

• Review analytics reports to identify what’s working and where to adjust

• Collaborate with the broader team to ensure cohesive, consistent marketing efforts across all client touchpoints

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in content marketing or digital strategy (freelance and internships count)

• Strong writing and editing skills - you’re comfortable adapting tone and voice

• Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and ChatGPT

• Bonus: experience with Wix, WordPress, HubSpot, or Reddit

• Self-starter energy: you enjoy autonomy and pride yourself on staying organized and proactive

• Comfortable with fast-moving priorities and context-switching across clients

• While Iris Partnering is supportive of independent virtual assistants, agencies, and firms, we are only considering applicants who can commit to working exclusively for Iris Partnering. As part of our agreement to begin working with Iris Partnering, a non-compete clause is required, and candidates must be prepared to work solely for our organization.
